Description of the company

The company organises international BtoB fairs/meetings (Hospitality, tourism, events fairs). They have offices in London, USA and Indonesia.

Tasks and Responsibilities of the intern

During this work placement, your main mission will be to prospect and find new participants/exhibitors for the fairs organized by the company. In order to accomplish your mission, you will:
  • Conduct market research and analyze the results
  • Call potential fair attendees from all over the World to invite them to the fairs
  • Process and file contracts
  • Contact confirmed fair attendees to check the organization of their trip is going smoothly
  • Assist with the logistics before each fair, particularly regarding the attendees’ trips, flights and accommodation
  • Maintaining and updating database

Skills and qualifications required

  • Intermediate English level
  • Very good organization skills
  • Pro active personality
  • Knowledge of the tourism / event market would be a plus
  • Friendly & approachable
  • Confident communication skills
