Description of the company: This company is a large, multifunctional enterprise that offers a range of services in the areas of events and communications. They have a broad range of clients, both in the Netherlands and abroad. They help their clients to organize, host and run events, based on their needs.

Responsibilities and duties

During this internship you will learn how to organize an event from A to Z by performing the following tasks:
  • Coordinating different independent projects for exhibitions, congress or fairs
  • Create concepts, plan and monitor the projects you are working on and their related sales activities
  • Set up action plans, prepare quotations and contact with the company’s suppliers
  • Support the team by organizing meetings, checking the different events and report on them
  • Help with sales and marketing activities by corresponding with exhibitioners for instance
  • Support departments with related administrative tasks when needed

Skills and qualifications required

  • Currently studying topics related to Hospitality, Leisure, Event or similar (3rd or 4th year)
  • Some first professional experience (even if not related to your education)
  • Fluent English (B2/C1)
  • Speaking Dutch would be an asset but is not absolutely necessary
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player, with strong work ethic
