This internship in Dublin, will take place in an Irish non-profit organization. The company is working with children and young people in Ireland who are living in disadvantaged circumstances to help them. During this work placement you will work as a Business developer assistant including searching fundraisers. Tasks and responsibilities of the intern
For this work placement, you will help disadvantaged people in Ireland. As an intern you will assist the team with fundraising events. To do so, you will work on various tasks such as:- Business – Assist the team in developing the markets, prospecting for new partners (by phone and email)
- Event – Set up event planning & logistics
- Marketing – Communicate on the web and social media platforms of the company
- Finance – Prepare and estimate costs of events
- Administration – Updating the company databases
- Any other duties as assigned from time to time by your Manager or Director
Skills and qualifications required
- Good level of English
- Currently enrolled in a Business, Marketing, Sales or Project Management Degree
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Proactive and can-do attitude
- Experience in fundraising, event management, sales and/or marketing would be an advantage but not essential
